As part of this project our five contributors evenly split research and analysis of the etymologies surrounding Merseyside, with consideration to influences such as Old Norse, and the time periods in which they were first recognised.
We have used several resources throughout our investigation in order to make a rich website in the history of the etymology of Merseyside districts.
HALOGEN has been the main resource used as a catalyst towards our research which was created by the University of Leicester.
Our research as individuals has been sectioned off and as a collective we have used several different resources.
As a collective, we have gathered our research, presented this on each section and analysed throughout.
